Go pappa GO!

Here are the Minis cheering on their pappa who ran the Stockholm marathon this past weekend (and I thought I was tired after being in the city with these two monkeys all day...). Tom even popped in to get kisses from his biggest fans.

sorry about the cropping here honey, it all went so fast!

just after the finish line, max hugs his old man
(tom, you do not look like you just finished a marathon here!)

Mother's Day

I admit, it happens... I get frustrated, tired, sick & tired, and fed up sometimes. I think every mother does now and again. But the love and appreciation I feel for Max and Sigge goes way beyond anything in my wildest dreams. I love them so much it hurts sometimes! This Mother's Day (Swedish one ;) I asked for the same thing as last year, a photo with me and my little boys.
these little rascals have captured my heart indeed!

trying to get Max to pull his hand out from my shirt can be difficult

with the little chipmunk, Max

later, right before bed, with a very tired Sigge

We're a mess over here!

Max and Sigge are intense, and do everything all out, including eating. We practice eating "by ourselves" with a spoon, and it's going pretty well I would say. But no photo in the world can convey the mess that is the result of these dinners.

Hipsters

Welcome to the Jungle

Max and Sigge much prefer climbing furniture like wild monkeys to putting on their pajamas during bedtime.
As you can see, they are very obedient....

The Accident

Unfortunately having small kids also means worrying and a lot of mental anguish. Three weeks ago, Max squeezed himself through the railing by the stairs to the basement and landed at the bottom of the stairs, so a fall of about 2 meters. We took an ambulance to the children's hospital and he and I spent one night there under observation. Max showed no signs of head trauma and his blood pressure and blood tests were good, so we were released the next day. So things considering, we were VERY lucky. He must have a little guardian angel :)

It was a horrible day that I still have a hard time talking about sometimes. It's sad that there have to be hospital gowns in this small size. We saw some other kids at the hospital who had had operations and things that these small creatures should not have to face, in my opinion.

Some photos of Max during our stay at the hospital, and the smallest blood pressure device I have ever seen! He was a very brave little man.

cuteness alert

Sigge in the blue vest and Max in the green... more photos from Småland.
Now as some of you know, Sigge is definitely daddy's litle guy, very attached to him, and i thought these photos just said it all...
