Thanks to Mam and Joy, our Thai nannies, we were able to slip away for 2 hours today long enough to have breakfast and a massage on the beach, WONDERFUL!

Impromptu Babysitters

Eating out is not easy with these active little monkeys, but once in a while we get cabin fever and need to get out of the house. Luckily, during this lunch out, the women working at the restaurant were eager to play with Max and Sigge. This meant that Tom and I could eat, albeit quickly, at the same time!

The Highlight of our Day

Around 16.30 the pool is completely in the shade, so we head down to swim without all the sun lotions, hats, etc. It's so nice! There we meet the other Swedish family staying in the house next to ours and we all have a nice pre-bedtime swim (which also tires the little monkeys out)... it's the highlight of our day, so you will probably see a lot of photos from here.

Just Chillin' at the "Drunken Sailor"

No, we have not signed Max up for Harp lessons (although by the looks of it he might have the talent for it), we are hanging out in a hammock at a coffee place called the Drunken Sailor.

Big Day for the Sigster

I was so annoyed when I heard the Minis were NOT falling asleep as they were supposed to in their beds for this morning's nap, but were instead fooling around. In fact, I though I heard laughing so I marched into the bedroom to find this... Sigge had pulled himself up in his crib for the first time and was very pleased with himself,, as you can see. My irritation somehow just disappeared :)

Mam

This is Mam, not Mamma, but Mam. Max even called her by name, which was really funny. The Thai people LOVE LOVE LOVE the minis! Everyone wants to hold them, talk to them, stick their heads in the stroller and touch them. A very popular duo indeed!

In Thailand for like 2 minutes and Max and Sigge have already found themselves two beautiful Thai twins, even if I think they are a little too old for them.

Turning Point

After a long journey, jet lag... you name it, we were feeling pretty down, but the turning point came when we bought a baby pool and the minis got to play and cool off, squealing with joy! Great moment.

And we're off!

Here we are, at Arlanda. Little did we know we were in for the journey from hell. Ok, I don't know what we were expecting, but let's just say that we were EXHAUSTED when we arrived at our house on Koh Lanta 22 hours later (and almost no sleep). But things are looking up, more photos to come. Notice Max and Sigge holding hands in their new travel stroller!

So long...

This is the last photo of the Minis in winter clothes you will see for a while. Why, you ask? We are packing up our little cue balls along with a few other things and going to Thailand! We leave tomorrow and no, I am not worried about the 20 hour trip :S

But we will try to update the blog from our new "home" on Koh Lanta. They are too cute in their swimming shorts not to blog about them.

April 8th - Sept 30th

After out latest visit with our physical therapist, who has been helping Sigge with his head tilt, I decided to compare a similar shot taken back in April, 5 1/2 months ago!

Öppna Förskolan

This is where we can hang out with other parents and children under 10 months on wednesdays! Again, a typical scen, Max puttin' the moves on some chick in a "pit" and Sigge out making new friends or perhaps stealing toys from other babies. Can you spot him in the crowd? A bit o a Where's Waldo.

Different

Sigge is on the move and Max sits and plays, pretty representative of how they are in general!

Green Valley - we will miss you

On Saturday we left our beloved apartment in Gröndal / Green Valley. These two photos are from a walk we took around the lake by our apartment, and I sat on a bench with this view as the Minis slept soudly in their stoller. I am really going to miss this.
