Lucia

We were the proud parents of two little gingerbread men in this morning's Lucia celebration at Dagis. Poor little things, all the costumes and parents standing there staring, smiling, crying and flashing in their faces. They did a great job. Max stood in the middle almost the whole time (3rd photo) and Sigge joined him at the end and danced around while the older children sang. (last photo). The quality of these photos leave something to be desired.

Couch Potatoes

Mamma had a bad headache yesterday and needed some peace and quiet so she could make dinner. So she gave the Minis some apple wedges and popped an iPad in the oven and VOILA!

Little bakers

baking pepparkakor (gingerbread cookies) with the Minis washilarious. Mormor and I noticed right off the bat that they had definitely baked before at day care because they immediately started to sprinkle flour over the dough, every so delicately with their tiny chubby fingers.

Max grabbing some more flour.

Mormor helping Sigge.

waving to pappa who was outside putting up christmas lights

even mamma got to be in some of the shots, thanks to mormor (who even took this most amazing shot of sigge below)

then pappa came in from the cold

"what do you mean pappa?
i promise i have not eaten any dough, what would give you that impression??"

Dec 1st

Max and Sigge have the most incredible 24 days ahead of them because they will each open a present every day until Xmas! Mormor and morfar have bought and wrapped TONS of gifts and each day brings a new surprise. Today we opened the first gifts, which we so loved! I had a hard time getting Sigge to put it down before bed. Thanks mormor and morfar!
