Happy 18 months my dear sweet MINIS!

Max and Sigge are officially a year and a half old. This was a fun shoot. I bribed them with a cookie which they are chewing on in almost every shot (smart). Unfortunately Max got beat up at day care today by an older kid, but I hope their day improved when we went to our favorite cafe and looked at boats and birds.

These beautiful chairs are MADE by farmor Marianne! (with som help from farfar making one of the structures)

You should be able to click on the photos to make them bigger.

The Beach Boys

A couple weekends ago we went to the beach by our house, which was SO much fun. playing in the sand, swimming and then napping in the shade. That was a great day.

A great day

what a great day we just had. the monday off for the swedish national holiday, tom home after 4 weeks of traveling a lot, so we just had the whole day together. we spent most of it in vaxholm, but the last hour before bath time was spent here, on the terrace just playing. the boys were hilarious. moving chairs, trying to escape (sigge was working that latch), up and down, back and forth. i will go to bed with a smile on my face.
i love the diagonal that they are forming here.

car drove by down on the street, very exciting.

I hope this trend does not continue!

Here is our little (should we say accident-prone?) Max at the hospital (but in good spirits as you can see). After a fun day of hanging with Bruno he suddenly got a strange skin reaction (nässelutslag), I think you call it hives. White bumps on a red hot area. The ones I was afraid of were the ones around his mouth and on his cheeks and chin and indeed the nurse I spoke with on the phone said we should definitely come in to the emergency room in case the reaction spreads and makes the throat swollen.

So I drove there with the boys (poor Tom is out of town). When I arrived, the nurse at the reception informed me that she just needed to tidy up the waiting room before she got us signed in... Um, excuse me! you haven't even asked why this sweaty mamma with wild twin boys is here. WE HAVE A POSSIBLE DANGEROUS ALLERGIC REACTION LADY! Ugh. After a long wait, the doctor informed us that this reaction was not allergic but instead brought on by a virus. Poor Max got a fever while we were there and just started to get warmer and warmer. But I bribed them with cookies and they behaved.... until we got home where those cookies came back to bite me in the ass. Sigge was doing handstands in his crib at about 9.30 pm (note: he usually falls asleep at 7pm). Thank God Marianne met me at the hospital and came home with us so she could help me because Sigge was going nuts and then finally woke Max up with his noises and we had a vicious cycle going here for quite a while.

Now there is a calm and I am drinking chocolate milk (due to the lack of chocolate in this house) and then heading off to bed. Uh oh, just heard a sneeze..... gotta go.
